AUDIOropa is a division of the Humantechnik Group, which specializes in large-area assistive audio systems. The main ambition of AUDIOropa is to enable hearing-impaired people to access sound in public spaces, either by sound amplification within individual receivers or by involving the persons personal hearing aid (e.g. Cochlea Implant).
This is achieved by transmitting sound by inductive fields (loop systems), radio frequency or infrared light.
Humantechnik itself is a well-established producer of domestic assistive devices for the hearing-impaired, such as light signal systems and TV-audio listening devices.
