TopTurn & TopMill allow a comprehensive and universal CNC training with 3D machine tool models in all CNC control languages.
TopMill & TopTrain can be adapted to the CNC training contents for CNC machine operators and all metal working professions including mechatronics and CNC programmers according to the German PAL standards, as well as for technicians, master craftsmen up to mechanical engineers. Learning assessments for each training level can be carried out simultaneously with NCTest (cloze text method with automatic evaluation). The use of control specific CNC command codes or postprocessors allows a smooth and continuous transition from the virtual CNC machine tools to practical training on real CNC machines.
This software is able to cover technical qualifications in the vast CNC area, from CNC basics to the programming of complex machining processes on 5 axes machining centers.
The realistic CNC simulation with collision monitoring includes in addition to workpiece and tool, all tool details, cutting edge, holder, tool mounting as well as work holding and machine-relevant components (neighbor-tools, tailstock, counter spindle, indexing unit) are included.
The set-up of the TopMill or TopTurn machine tools is performed in the same way as on a real machine tool, with the tool assembly, determination of tool correction values, clamping of the workpiece and determination of the workpiece zero point. For this purpose TopMill & TopTurn are equipped with an easy to handle and comfortable setup dialogue, that realistically simulates all these hands-on activities in the virtual machine tools (e.g. scratching a workpiece under manual control with a hand wheel, to set the zero point of an axis).
Thereby we offer the perfect, efficient and cost effective, as well as easily implementable solution for initial CNC training, CNC staff qualification and continuing CNC education and training, starting from varying initial qualifications towards differing qualification levels.
