Conveyor belt model with manifold equipment built-in a easy-to-carry compact case. The wide field of radio identification with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is introduced with practical examples.
The conveyor belt (haul drift approx. 310mm, width approx. 40mm) runs planar over the built in console base-plate. The drive motor with integrated incremental encoder is mounted invisible below the base plate; with adequate programming a direct positioning is possible.
Cyndrical test devices (diameter 30mm) of different materials (metel, plastic in white and in black) and different heights (20 or 22mm) with integrated RFID-transponder are led to the conveyor belt via feeding station loaded with electrical feeding pusher, which drives the test items through different sensors (inductive, capacitive and optical), an ultrasonic analogue measuring sensor and also a RFID reader and writer module.
Two more electrical feeders allow the sorting of the test devices (within scope of delivery). Light barriers avoid the "overflow of the storage area" (from 2nd test device in the placement area). A considerably control panel enables direct "on-site-operation" of the device [3 illuminated push-bottons ("START", "STOP", "FC"), operating mode-switch (i.e. half-automatic or setup-function), 2x2 indicator lights ("LA1", "LA2", Quality "good" or "bad"].
The connection of the digital in- and outputs (DI and DO) is through a 37-pin D-DUB-systemplug (a adapter panel W4760-8C) for discrete plugging is also available); the analogue value(0-10V) is brought out by 4mm safety-lab-plugs. The RFID modules writer and reader are connected with special cable to the DIN A4 experimenter panel W4764-4AZ RFID communication-module SIMATIC RF180C with Ethernet hub as interface to the CPU.
